The Mexico–Spain Audiovisual Conference: Building Creative Bridges serves as a strategic platform to foster creative and commercial partnerships that strengthen the joint audiovisual potential of both countries. Its goal is to establish strong connections between key players from both industries, highlight their creative richness, and promote the development of Spanish–Mexican co-productions with international reach.

Spain boasts one of the most dynamic audiovisual industries in Europe, while Mexico stands as one of the most significant audiovisual markets in the world. With a solid network of production, distribution, and exhibition, as well as a robust infrastructure of cinemas and digital platforms, Mexico represents a key growth point for the sector. Mexico City, in particular, has established itself as a major hub for production and operations in Latin America.

These conferences are designed to foster long-term cultural and economic exchange between the two industries.

The event is organized by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment through Audiovisual from Spain, with the support of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE) and the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), in collaboration with the Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico and FIASCO.
